This one refers to Dr. Cheney's research & recommendations (he is a top ME/CFS doctor who was involved in the Incline Village outbreak in the 80's and has LOTS of experience with ME/CFS):

http://livewithcfs.blogspot.com/2014/04/imunovir-update-and-inosine.html

His post in Imunovir/inosine:

http://www.anapsid.org/cnd/drugs/isoprinosine.html

And, his explanation of the Th1-Th2 balance where he lists inosine as helping to shift the balance from Th2 to Th1:

http://www.anapsid.org/cnd/diagnosis/cheneyis.html

From personal experience, my son and I have had great success with inosine, as I explain here:

http://livewithcfs.blogspot.com/2014/09/treating-immune-dysfunction-in-mecfs.html

It has definitely helped to balance or normalize our immune systems, as it has for many other ME/CFS patients also. We used to both crash frequently from exposure to viruses, and now we rarely do. In fact, we both catch viruses occasionally now, like a normal person, and get over them in a typical amount of time. I had a normal cold in January for the first time in 15 years!

We have not noticed any difference at all between Imunovir and inosine & we have used them for many years now.

Hope that helps to further explain this. It is certainly well worth a try, as it is cheap and readily accessible! Just pay close attention to dosing, as I outline in that blog post above.

SueSue Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14532098225905355332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22576999.post-53538533777865209962017-03-12T06:11:46.321-04:002017-03-12T06:11:46.321-04:00Hi I wonder where you got the information that ino...Hi I wonder where you got the information that inosine raised Th1 and lowered Th2. Most studies indicate the opposite it raises Th2 and lowered Th1.. for example MS studies and mice studies. Though is seems immunovir raises Th1 in several ways in studies. So this indiciate that the substanses do not work in the same way. Whats do you think?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
