I am in the worst shape I've been in in years with one of those sore throats that feels like I swallowed barbed wire, but I had to share this with you.
This is a doctor's testimony for the upcoming CFSAC meeting about how she and her daughter have benefited from anti-retroviral drugs. Wow, I hope someone listens.
I have had Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) since March 2002. Both of my sons also got ME/CFS at ages 6 and 10. Our younger son fully recovered after 10 years of mild illness. Our older son still has ME/CFS and also has Lyme disease plus two other tick infections. This blog is about how our family lives with chronic illness, with a focus on improving our conditions and enjoying our lives in spite of these challenges.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well: I hope that changes very soon! (I'll be sure to check out the link when I have a few extra minutes... just wanted you to know I hope you're feeling better!)
I'm so sorry you are feeling miserable today. I hope it is short lived and that you are back on your feet soon.
I follow Jamie's blog; I think it's a remarkable thing that she is doing, and she has inspired me to stick my neck out there and try to find out if a similar approach would be helpful for me. We'll see when the tests come back. I think she is amazing and courageous, and I'm glad she's an advocate for all of us.
Thanks for this Sue. Will pray for you today.....
I'm so sorry Sue. Could you have strep or is this a sore throat that you know is part of CFS? I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for posting this.
Wow, great testimony! I think I read about a doctor and her daughter from one of the reports recently.
Sue, I hope you're hanging in there and keeping the hope alive. I hope even more that you're beginning to feel better.
As always, my thoughts and prayers are sent your way.
